Mustache Party

Saturday night my friends and I had a Mustache Party.  We had a few things that we needed to celebrate. First, Kim is leaving to go on a mission in 3 weeks. Second, Diana finally moved back to Utah.  Lastly, Chana and Fred are moving to Arizona in less than a week.  Since we had so much to celebrate we wanted to make it extra fun.  So we decided to have a mustache themed party and go bowling.  What a great combination!

Thanks Natalie, McKell, Joseph, and Josee for coming too. It was so great to see everyone!  We will all miss Kim, Chana, and Fred, but are glad that Diana is back.  Maybe one day we will all live in the same place again.

Saturday night was the Ingrid Michaelson concert.  Lindsay got us the tickets for my birthday.  I really love going to concerts.  I would say that this was the best concert I have been to.  Ingrid was so funny.  The best part was at the end.  You know how every concert now a days has an encore after they are "done".  We all know that they are planning on coming back on stage because the lights stay off even after they leave.  So instead of leaving the stage, they all hid on stage.  Then after we all clapped and cheered they came out from hiding.  It was really funny and the best "encore" I have ever seen.

A bit of a change

It has been since I got married that I have gotten my hair done.  Next week that will be 8 months. I used to get my hair done every 4 months at the very least.  I have been wearing my hair in a pony tail for the past 5 months because my roots are looking so bad (plus my hair straightner doesn't like to work all the time).  Well I have been feeling a need for a bit of a change.  All I want is to not have anymore nasty roots, and my hair to be as close to my natural color as possible so I don't have to worry about this again.  I work with a girl that always dyes her own hair, because she was sick of paying someone lots of mulla to do it. (amen sista) So one day during our lunch we headed to Sally's Beauty Supply to find me some hair dye and the needed tools.  After only spending $7 I was on my way.  Thursday night my trusty assistants (Diana, Mauri, and Kim) came to do my hair.  After much worry and anticipation we finished.  It actually turned out pretty good.  Now all I need is to get my hair cut.  Thanks girls for driving all the way up here to help a girl out.
